Money is becoming a much larger issue that people deal with, yet there are no mandatory classes that teach students anything about money. Never. What gets to me is how everyone talks about the public education system as though it's the same all over the country. It's not even the same in each city. I wish the standards were the same everywhere. Then we'd at least have a real idea of how fucked it really is.

How old are you? The reason why school is harder is because we are moving away from memorizing facts, easymode, to actual learning and using applied knowledge from memorization, hard mode. There's a huge difference and it's an important one.
