It's really difficult to try to sympathize with a person who could have been gunned down. Here we are, sitting in our homes, jobs or walking down the street without a worry in the world. The majority of us will never even hear gunfire in our lives other than on TV or in a video game.
But then this girl ended up hearing it mowing down her classmates. I don't know about you, but it's pretty shit to be in the position where you have to think about whether or not you get to go home that day or not.
The younger generation is full of smart, bright children that can make good decisions. They have more information than anyone before them with the advent of the Internet and mobile technology. I'm glad that it's this way. We can finally get over the xenophobia that has plagued us and caused us to go into an abyss of hate and misunderstanding.
