My ex girlfriend is threatening to go to the police about donestic violence. There had been fights where we were both aggressive towards eachother about a year and a half ago while we were dating.
What sort of grounds qualify for someone being able to say this and prosicute the other person being myself?
Whats gonna happen if she tells the police and favricates the story in her favour?

This is all just over dramatic and she uses it as a threat because the system is in favour often in situations like this. Should i call the police and say that this person is trying to incriminate me and i dont want any lies to be made into facts if she calls them first.

If you can, get some proof that she said she'd have someone else corroborate her story, look up statute of limitations on domestic violence, and remember that without any physical evidence there's not much of a case. If she takes you to court get a good lawyer, in fact, get a lawyer right now. But don't go to the cops.
