Not a psychologist but it was my major in college. Its still debated if the condition is real. Confirmed cases are extremely rare. In all cases the subjects were aware of the personalities. Some even hold full conversations with themselves.

I know it's not because I haven't experienced any loss of time in the last hour at all.

I can back this. It's difficult to receive help with this conditions because a lot of people like to say it's "just pretend". There are however people with DID that have physical differences that prove its legit
