well there's bunch of studies suggesting it improves your life other than diabetes. Plus what harm does it make if you take it and you don't have diabetes?

as for any drug you take without a real medical reason theres always some arms. you can risk some hypoglycemia (kinda rare with metformin but it happens) you body will get used to it and when you'll stop your body will get ''lazy'' and need ''help'' to create insuline. as for these studies , lets just say theres some studies that say's vaccination cause autism so i wouldnt trust ''a bunch'' of studies on site like : mymomgivesmeessentialoil.com/itstrue

Metformin is like taking a multi-vitamin. Your argument is weak. It's like saying if you stopped taking your multivitamin one day that your body would get lazy and then your immune system would be weaker for not getting the vitamins it was benefitting from and then you will be more likely to get chronically sick

yeah you're probably right... i forgot multi-vitamins can drop your glycemia values . rofl man. multi-vitamins is exactly not the same as metformin but hey what do i know. im just a guy on the internet that could look it up on wikipedia. you should try clenbuterol. pretty good to loose weight and its pretty much like a multi-vitamins

the real conclusion is : its your body man. do what you want. talk about it to your doc . he can't stop you from taking it but he surely know better than 2 guy on the net.

I have adult onset Type 2 Diabetes. AC1 is at 6.5 (it was at 7.1) and blood sugar above 150.

I took both Metformin, and now I take a Metformin/Jardiance pill call Synjardy.

There are no cognitive improvements with either.

They do work to lower blood sugar, though, through preventing some sugar re-uptake by the kidneys, resulting in sugar excretion. At least that's how Synjardy works.
