Captain Marvel was not explored well as a character and the villain is so fucking robotic and lacking in personality for pretty much the whole movie. Though, Nick Fury definitely had quite a bit of personality there.

I truly doubt that it is any better than any other marvel movie. The only good one was iron man and even then only because it was the first.

It was legit fun, with callbacks (callforwards?) to other MCU movies and a soundtrack of 90s songs that were actually appropriate to the scene, which I really enjoyed. Brie Larson isn't going to be winning Best Actress for this, but she plays her role very well and the story gives some much needed depth to the Kree.
