Chase Bank has begun to shut down the bank accounts of conservatives just because they're conservatives

Chase Bank has begun to shut down the bank accounts of conservatives just because they're conservatives.

breitbart.com/tech/2019/02/27/financial-blacklisting-chase-bank-withdraws-service-from-independent-and-conservative-figures/

This has turned my whole world upside-down. I've leaned left my entire life, mostly because I like the idea of being free from things like racism, religion and other uncomfortable, old-fashioned standards. But this event, and the fact that everyone seems to be doing their utmost to keep people from finding out about it, just shows that the conservatives were right all along. There IS a conspiracy against them, because this is literally the exact kind of discrimination that would probably get a bank completely shut down if they were doing this to democrats.

Now I have to come to grips with the fact that my entire worldview needs to change, and it's really affecting me.

I tried posting this to Reddit, but every time I did, my post kept mysteriously disappearing, which makes this all the more suspicious.

Please, if you can, just prove to me this is all just some kind of lie so that I can sleep peacefully tonight. If it really is true, then please, spread this story around so that others can know the truth.

cite something reputable cuck

>suspicious
because you're posting bb you idiot

Yeah, that happened. You're definitely leftist. I'm a right wing nut and even I can see the obvious shit you're pulling here. Knock it off.

Man up, snowflake.

Normally I wouldn't trust Breitbart either, but what's convincing me here is that all of the people who claimed Chase did this to them specifically have screenshots of the letters they were sent by the bank. They look pretty legit to me.

Fake news from a fake news site. How uninspired.

Where's the actual letter stating the reasons for closure? I bet they got closed for kiting checks or other shenanigans.

fake news

kikes wouldnt do that to themselves

She said they didn't send her a letter with any reason. All they sent her was this.

Also, found another version of the same letter with the name of her production company or whatever it is visible

if they pledged allegance to isreal like the mainstream conservitives they could use the services again.

>Leftist
>breitbart article
That's your problem: reading fake news

She's lying. There is another page listing why your account is closed.

So there's no proof of anything. Nice work brietbart "journalist". Artical is literally woman gets bank account shut down for unknown reason and spun as a conspiracy

well breitbart's a legitimate source! totally believable! PANIC fellow jews, panic!

Remember that whole bakery won't make cake for gay couple fiasco a few years ago? The response from conservatives was: just find another bakery, free market, etc.

Now a bank has chosen not to business with conservatives, guess what? Stop whining and bitching and use your own advice, find another bank. Even if it's fake news, you don't get to be butt hurt while telling others not to be butt hurt about literally the exact same thing.

why are you posting this old shit?

Breitbart isn't fake news per se, at least no more than CNN or Fox. It's heavily slanted news. Just like CNN and Fox. Facts aren't usually fabricated, just heavily twisted and cherry picked for a narrative.

It's true, read the comments below and realize how many enthusiastic Shit-Eaters we're infested with.

It's really weird to see the right complaining about corporate power and independence and the left defending it.
I honestly think we're seeing a political flip akin to the one in the sixties with the left adopting right wing attitudes and the right adopting left wing ones. Just both sides hate the other so much they won't adjust the nomenclature

Too bad that article is fake news. There is no "conservative blacklist".

And the baker was forced to bake a cake so if the left is going to force it, the right can demand that same force.

no he wasn't you tard.

No, he wasn't. The Supreme Court said he was right to refuse. Dumb faggot.

Have you read the article? Breitbart don't assert there is, beyond describing certain individuals who have suffered multiple denials of service as being "blacklisted" (which is an opinion based adjective in the specific only)

We're stuck with two parties, when the carnage is over in few election cycles the outcome will still use the old names but plenty of faces will be sitting on a different side of the aisle...

Pretty sure they didn't because muh religious freedom, I'd have to go back and look. But if you believe in free market, why would you want to business with someone who doesn't want to work with you? They are going to duck you over every chance they get.

Also, my point was stop whining about it, snowflake. No one has to capitulate to you because you don't like something.

Did you read the headline of the article, or do you think you're trolling? Either way you're still a retard.

Actually, the Supreme Court really carefully avoided deciding on the core issue at all and ruled on a process technicality. Basically said the state discrimination board hearing didn't take his argument seriously enough, but didn't say whether it should have been accepted still or not.

>Many of the companies involved in the rise of financial blacklisting have faced a sustained campaign by left-wing agitators including the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Color of Change urging them to withdraw service from conservatives and Trump supporters.

Acktually, you're being a pedantic faggot. Result is still the same. He didn't have to bake the cake.

Headlines are famous for being ambiguously reduced. It's in keeping with the usage in the article whilst being very open to alternative interpretation. Need media does this all the time. It's how they grab attention.
An article is more than the headline

>They look pretty legit to me.
>Shows one of the easiest documents to fake (you can dl Chase's letter template online, or make your own in Word)

The assertion was that he had the right to refuse. That was left undecided at law. We don't know yet how that will play out in court.

I don't trust BB as far as I could throw Sean Hannity... But beyond that, aren't conservatives the ones pushing that businesses can choose to do business with whomever they choose or not?

Why then is Chase doing anything outside of what those conservatives are advocating?

but that's not what actually happened you goddamn retard.

You seem to think there is still a court case. The case being heard now is about a different set of degenerates wanting a different cake. You really should try to keep up on current events.

>Now I have to come to grips with the fact that my entire worldview needs to change, and it's really affecting me.

Welcome to /pol/

Yes it's full of weasel words and fuzzy phrasing. But it doesn't say there is a blacklist, it's referring to individuals being what they call "blacklisted". And some arguably have been, whether for good or for bad.
The point is it's a slanted narrative but not objectively fake/false. Anything dubious is phrased as third party assertions or claims. They're clear.

you need to go back

this except im not right wing

When there's a supreme Court judgement addressing the substantive issue here, then, let me know. Till then we don't know if there's a right to refuse or not (at law)

An actual list recorded somewhere that a subpoena can find would be illegal, so it's all handled verbally, can't have a repeat of the Journo-List scandal after all...
It would be better all around if our self-appointed Elite were more Stupid than Evil but we have to work with what we've got.

well yeah, when most of the article is just subjective, of course you're not going to objectively lie.

Keep up with those mental gymnastics, you'll do well in the food service industry. You might even make shift manager.

kek. I'm a conservative. this is bullshit probably posted here by the breitbart fag. I hate these bullshit *attempts* at gaslighting by either side. this is no different than what that black faggot tried to pull. luckily our whole scale collective consciousness isn't dumb enough to believe this shit. not yet at least. OP you should be ashamed of yourself, but you're most likely a journalist, and that feel isn't even in you sociopaths' emotional wheelhouse.

Make sure that everyone you know and meet knows and that nobody uses them. Nothing can hurt a financial institution like a bank when they lose their customers. Remember banks use you money to make money. If they no longer have your money to use then they start losing money.

I've searched and searched and searched and I've only seen this on Breitbart (which, come the fuck on man..), conservative forums, tabloids, and blogs.

Even Fox news isn't reporting on this..

>I've been left of.center

I know you're lying because you're citing Breitbart.

>I'm a liberal guise I swear
*posts breitbart article*

Come back with a better source than brightfart and we can talk.

A bank has literally no reason to cut ties with anyone, not even to make a statement, unless they're doing something illegal... Banks like money... A lot. They're banks.

It’s true. Welcome to the present.

Which is why they probably didn't shut people's accounts down who represent a demographic of half the US over political disagreements...

but i thought only liberals did victim cards and identity politics

I shall labor like a Stakhanovite in pursuit of such an honor Comrade...

They started it.

ok, so would you admit that it's not the left only that's doing it?

1) Bullshit. Reddit doesn't give a shit or the entire r/Donald thing would be gone. Stop lying to gin up some sympathy.

2) These weren't conservatives, they were far-right assholes like Spencer or Tarrio. Don't confuse your dumbass, anti-American POV with hard-working conservatives.

3) There's no evidence (at least not in the Breitbart article, shocker) that Markota lost her account for any reason in particular. At best, this is a guess.

4) If you're good with a baker turning away a gay couple, then you should be good with a bank turning away any customer.

There is no national conspiracy against dumbass Trump supporters. It's just that so many of you are rude, ignorant, and selfish that more and more people simply don't want to work with you. I don't blame them.

"I know you're lying because you're citing Breitbart."
IOW the Gleichschaltung is working...

That's not what I said, and changing my words is very cowardly and reflective of your retardation. He's lying about being left at all, because he subscribes to Breitbart.

Even most conservatives know Breitbart is far right garbage tabloid. No way in hell someone who "leans left" doesn't think so.

Obama installed the levers, the LibTard Collective just keep yanking them.
They're also big on fucking over firearms dealers...

This is all bullshit.

>Breitbart is not a credible source
>A bank has no means of knowing your political leanings unless you are buying nazi memorabilia with credit or someshit like donating to faggots like Richard Spencer
>No document citing reason for account termination
>It doesn't even make sense as it would give business to competitors

Attached: 1552223756880.jpg (770x960, 97K)

Keep whistling...

Breitbart is right wing. OP is claming to be leftwing.
Don't be so retarded.

IOW no true LibTard would EVER give anything appearing there the tiniest hint of credibility.
It's working, and you're so deep in denial you don't dare admit it...

You know what the word tabloid means, right?

>breitbart.com
lol may as well get your news off a panhandler's cardboard sign

There are degrees, Weekly World News has slightly less credibility than the NY Times...
