of course there are millionaires and billionaires claiming to care about the lower class. otherwise the lower class might actually get together and speak up for themselves. and they have the numbers advantage by far, so the upper class sure as fuck doesn't want that. this way your average minimum wage slave can say "hey there's some guy on TV speaking up for me, that's nice, now I don't have to speak up for myself." and he stays dumb and complacent.
