I spent 4 years in a Catholic Seminary studying to become a priest. Left because I could gradually tell it wasn't right for me.
Ask whatever you want to know about the training, the environment, my opinions or experiences which relate.
How many people in seminary realize that it's bullshit?
If you mean how many people leave and don't get ordained priests, I'd say a little more than half.

Did your family disown you?
Do you regret going?
Did not cost me anything, but that depends on the diocese or religious order.
Family was fine. "If you're happy/We're happy" attitude
No regrets. Made some good friends and had some good experiences.
