I suggest downloading a job finder app like zip recruiter put resume in it and apply to a bunch of jobs that don't require much of you like security guard job. I did that and I got tons of people calling me for interviews and I took my pick at a job. I get paid 12 usd an hour standing still at a building for 5 hours a day. Its not much but i get to enjoy most of my day and get a 450 dollar check every other week for just standing at a location with uniform on lol. btw i pay 400 dollar rent every month and i get 2 checks a month so i struggle too but I already own a car, a decent pc to play vidya, and can afford to hang out with bros and eat everyday just minimum to keep from killing myself haha.

get a cdl
there is always work

>get a cdl
unironically this

its what i did
now i work for a liquor distributor

become a truck driver doesnt sound so bad really. I enjoy the open road. ANything bad you ahve to deal with?

this is the sed cat poster, I heard some of my friends mention cdl for like trucking and was curious about it. How long does it usually take to get one?

depends on the job
ive been a cross country driver which you dont get much time off, a mover which most companys require you to be atleast somewhat in shape, and a liquor distributor which is the best i only have to work 4 days a week and get guarenteed 40 hrs

inspections, drug tests, weather, accidents, law, mechanical failures, miscommunication

depends if you get one by yourself or sign up with a company to get one
it costs some money to get one on your own

i got mine through cr england
but swift also has a training program

but for them to get it for you, you have to sighn a contract to work for them for 6 months then you can quit and look for a better job

I don't have much money because of low hour job i currently have, and high cost of living but I will look into it just in case. Thanks user, for recommending mother trucking.

i mean there are minor anoyances but most of it has a procedure for it or is avoidable by not being an idot

glad i could help if you cant get one i recomend searching up cr england

yeah, i'm just stating what i read on the posters on the walls everywhere

they are just whining lol its so easy to get complacent
i should know i used to complain alot too

I will search up cr england. Texted the friend I heard talk about it he recommends the one his friend works for called Werner he said the contract is a year of working for them and they pay for the course.

the only realy anoying one is miscomunication but you still get paid for every mile you drive
as for weather you just slow down and drive for conditions

werner is pretty good never drove for them but hear good things
the best part of having a cdl is job security
you can get fired or quit but truckers are always needed
Americas infrastructure is built on truckers

give a man a truck and he can work for a day
teach a man to truck and now he is a turbo teen...
or something like that

just curious, how much did you give him?

didnt even say thank you

sorry, user! i was busy with hunting for jobs, i hope you understand.
thank you very very much! it really means a lot to me!
