Morrowind was really rusty in some places, but the story was much better.

Oblivion was great but after +10000 hours it just doesn’t feel the same

Fall out 76 was actually the best game ever made. period

It was good in ways and it was bad in ways.

Dark brotherhood quest line was amazing

I might play Fallout 76 if it wasn't $60.

Morrowind

I agree, though without the Shivering Isles it isn't

The leveling system sucked. Totally ruined the game

What about the leveling system sucked?

stop right there criminal scum you've violited the law, pay the court a fine or serve your sentence, your stolen goods are now forfeit.

I disagree about best game ever but i do love oblivion

>be 11
>in corner store with my dad
>see Oblivion on the front cover of a gaming magazine
>it instantly grabs my attention so i buy it
>read the same article on the upcoming elder scrolls game over, and over, and over
>the day finally comes and it conveniently drops on my birthday, so dad buys me it
>every minute outside of school i ram into the game, building my character and spending hours positioning my loot within the display cases in rosethorn hall
>dad is so glad that he got me something that i'm so happy with, he'll sit and watch me play whilst reading the newspaper.
>riding through the forest, wings of kynareth is playing. dad kisses me on the head. "bedtime now lad."

it's been over a decade and that is the fondest memory of my late dad. that track will always bring back memories of the most happy and care-free days of my life.

I said FO76 was too expensive for how entertaining it looks. How does that make me Todd Howard?

Dammit right in the feels

The game is okay, but the ass backwards leveling system and the horrible dialogue system really makes it unpleasant to revisit. The writing of the questlines is extremely inconsistent. The entirety of the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild are filler. Just fetch quests and watching the game jerk its self off while you have no input on what's going on around you. The main quest suffers worst. Meanwhile, the open ended freedom of how you can do almost all Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quests truly holds up as some of the best in the series. The Shivering Isles DLC is really good.

Overall Oblivion is a very mixed bag of mediocre game design with the occasional stroke of brilliance.

You hit me with the feels man. Secret of Mana will always be the game that reminds me of my late dad. He'd play that game outside and out, maxing every single stats&spell...

walk into town
forgot I have grey fox mask on
>FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I agree user, though may we die a noble death together as the hordes of frothing-at-the-mouth morrowindhipsters and skyrimnewfags devour us whole.

Thieves guild in oblivion was so much better than skyrim

I think Morrowind is the better game, but Oblivion has one big thing that Oblivion doesn't. The Lusty Argonian Maid.

I think I like Skyrim less and less every year. It was hugely influential gameplay-wise. But the story and quests just suck ass.

I know the feels.
dads are awesome. glad you got to share some epic memories with him.
Oblivion was one of the few games that my dad approved of. I mean, he would buy me anything like GTA or shooters, but never enjoyed watching me play them. He didn't like the violence and all the shooting.

he sat down and watched me play oblivion and he was hooked. he actually looked forward to watching me play after coming home from his shitty job. he was a single father mind you.

I ended up acing all my state literature tests year by year due to playing this game. he liked the fact that I would actually learn life skills from it and how the npcs would interact with you given certain circumstances and such.
taught me how bartering works.

this song is by far my favorite out of any game I've played.
Imo Oblivion has the best soundtrack to date. Even topping the Halo series.

Fallout 2 is better than OPs game

anyone tried morroblivion??

Fuck off, skyretard

Attached: ginchfamily.jpg (1600x900, 225K)

Hahaha that's the best thing I've read in a while

Being the best Elder Scrolls game is like being the smartest retard, you're still drooling all over yourself while making weird noises.

If you think Oblivion is better than The Witcher 3, you are a certified brainlet

Elona is better.

The Witcher 3's main story is worse than Oblivion's. And that's saying something.

Oblivion is the worst of the Elder Scrolls games, what the fuck are you smoking?

By no means is it a bad game, but it's overshadowed by its superior brethren.

Main story was pretty okay, DLC was amazing and gameplay is better than Bethesdas insulting combat system

skyrim is fun to go hunting in, i dig the bow mechanics and arrow drop

the witcher 3 was the most boring game I ever wasted my money on, and i bought the duke nukeum remake, day one

fallout 3 or new vegas > all es combined

Too generic to say Skyrim is better or what?

No, you are wrong. Rapeplay VR Haptic version is the best game ever made. It comes out in 2022.

Elder scrolls is gay

I refunded The Witcher 3 after an hour of cutscenes with one tutorial in the middle. Fuck that boring ass game.

>Elder scrolls is gay
They're still fantastic games.

Well when you chose a class (or built one) using actually useful skills (like Heavy Armor, Blade, Lockpick etc.) you gain levels through just playing the game. But in order for those levels to give good stat boosts you your attributes, you have to use skills that are governed by that attribute. On paper it sounds really good, but in practice you level up because your main skills get raised just through playing the game and you get sub-optimal attribute bonuses. Meaning you're way under-powered by around level 10 or so when the level scaling kicks in and you have to give the difficulty slider a slight nudge to the left every few levels.
Jesus Christ I have autism.

No, all role play fantasy games are gay

go back to your flappy bird then

I think I agree with you. My main problem with Oblivion was that the scaling was garbage. You very easily be a necromancer early to late game. Summon scamp lasted last two minutes and was pretty good. But at high levels the summon spells are completely worthless. You can summon a demi lich (or some other shit monster I never used) for twenty seconds. And he buffed himself for ten of those seconds. :|

Gay spotted

Gay roleplay fantasy games are fantastic. That's literally my favorite genre of video game.

ESO GUD!

Morrowind has the better story
Skyrim has the better mods
Oblivion has the better... gameplay?

nobody here even play skyrim. rip

I fucking loved it. Nothing better than sneaking it someones house to steal all their shit. Then to top it off I would go suck their blood cause I was a vampire.

Oblivion with Skyrim's game mechanics would be interesting. I'm reasonably certain it exists, too.

I have it for ps4. Great game but my horse kept getting lost.
