It's not exactly correct to say that "gamers are kids" and that's it.
A lot of them are kids, and they're just trying to be edgy.
But the biggest chunk is people that never grew up mentally and never became succesful in any way staying rejects well into their 30, having constant pent up anger that has nowhere to go, political extremization gives them a concrete outlet.
And, in turn, they become recruiters, and prey on younger social rejects going down their same path.
It's a cycle.
Obviously it doesn't mean that if you're in your 30+ and play video games you're automatically gonna become alt-right, it's just that the two groups intersects because it just so happens that they're extremely compatible for a number of reasons.

wouldnt alt right ideolagies go against being a gamer? i think you're wrong on this because being a loser " never became successful in any way staying rejects well into their 30" by these standards would go against and fit more into a politically correct left ideology.

If you want impartial representation then you should push for a state-controller platform model where the state tries to stay above sides.
Because platforms such as YT are privately owned and as a business, obviously they're going to push whatever agenda allows them to profit whatever current trend is popular.
I know you might think "but because theyì're privately owned they should be more impartial", but that's not how it works in pratice.
And the theory of equalizing this out with competition also doesn't work because 1-people don't like to try out new things when something has been estabilished for years and they're lazy 2-specific corporations end up monopolizing the entire market anyway.
Perhaps it could be solved with a state controlled and regulated "limited" capitalism put in check by a mostly impartial state, but that's sort of a pipe dream.
Basically what i'm getting at is that the entire issue about free speech is, for the most part, driven by concrete economics rather than social or political philosophies.
