Depends on the race. I do ok in the quarter, definitely slower than a car that does 0-60 at the same pace. In a track race, the truck is losing to most things. Offroad, it'll do decently against anything that isn't a rally car.

It was an 11' dump truck when I bought it. I extended the vehicle frame to 13'. Yes an F450. The truck was manufactured as a cab and chassis, the previous owner just put the dump body on it to sell it (which I had to take off and sell!) so no idea what the truck spent most of its life doing. Although there is a PTO pump and switch on the tranny with a custom tranny bracket made for it.

this isn't mine, but this is a friends M4. Basically did a sequential turbo swap, dinan s2 tune, and thats about it with performance. It pulls in 689 whp and i've tried to time his 0-60. With federal tires, we've gotten 3.3 (mind you that I timed that with my phone so it's not super exact). I personally drive an f30 328i. lease ends this july so I'm going for the new g20 bmw next! But I might also wait for the M330i or something like that.

I don't want a trailer because I'm always moving, parking on city streets etc where I couldn't take a trailer, and I would have nowhere to leave the trailer. I have no physical address. I do plan to weld on a trailer hitch and eventually put a small dual sport bike on it. I am also currently building a rack on the roof.

Honda 250 would be a handy little scoot. Gotta say, your posts probably the coolest here. I have a buddy who wants to do the same, build a vehicle like yours and travel to Colorado and Mexico. He's leaning more to using an extended Ford van.

Thanks. And tell him to do it. I lived the lifestyle out of a big class b camper van (in background) for 3.5 years. The things I wasn't happy with turned into my want list for a custom built house on wheels, and so after thinking about it for some time, I just built it.

Ya with a massive core and a big turbo. I get full boost at around 3800-4000 but thats the avg range for my turbo size on a subaru 2.5
