MY LIFESTYLE DETERMINES MY DEATHSTYLE
St.anger is severely underrated.
KEA> MOP> RTL> AFJA> BLACK ALBUM> LOAD> ST. ANGER> HTSD> DM> RELOAD
Prove me wrong.
>I have shit taste: the post
Then why don't you show us your ranking?
>inb4 everything after the first 4 albums is trash
AJFA>MOP>RTL>Black Abum>HTSD>KEA>Load>Reload>Death Magnetic>St Anger>Lulu
YA FLUSH IT OUT
YA FLUSH IT OUT
not ranking RTL as the top pick, fucking plebs
>afja that high up
No, just no. The production on that album was awful.
>>>biz
This. Brainlets can't get past the snare which doesn't even sound that weird. I think Metallica fans are just all boomers who can't understand when something isn't 100% formulaic by-the-books buttrock.
>DUDE LETS HIRE A THERAPIST LMAO
What in the literal fuck where they thinking?
best Metallica albums
Nine Tonight > Stranger in Town > Beautiful Loser
Holy shit you faggots are retarded. Literally the only thing wrong with the sound of AJFA is that the bass is super low, which doesn't matter because it's a useless fucking instrument anyways
How is something like Dyer’s Eve or Orion more buttrock than stuff like Purify and Sweet Amber?
St Anger has a few moments of brilliance but apart from a few tracks it’s all just really overlong and boring without the complexity to justify it. I think Hardwired is a much better continuation of the spirit of St Anger while also being much better to listen to
SHOOT ME AGAIN SHOOT ME AGAIN
thanks, Lars
AJFA>RTL>MOP>KEA>HTSD>BA>LOAD>DM>RELOAD>SA
Just beat me up, I can take it.
The continued employment of thousands of people depended on them getting their shit together
Terrible fucking list kiddo.
RTL
MOP
AJFA
KEA
-- POWER GAP --
Black Album
DM = HTSD
Literally every other studio album
>Metallica's only punk album is their best album
yikes
They were going through some really rough times, lars was being a cock as usual and suing napster like the like he is, james had just got out of rehab, jason left and kirk was too busy getting high and surfing to the point where he couldn't play for shit.
CLONG CLONG CLONG CLONG
Kike*
I don't really listen to Metallica. I just don't think the drums on St. Anger sound different enough to justify the amount of shit the album gets. They sound pretty spacey but every comment section is inevitably filled with "trashcans lmao xd"
>bass is useless
Oh God, its retarded.
I know what you mean when you say that, but the problem is a lot of bass cant be heard in metal bands because of production and or other reasons. But if you ever go to a concert, you feel the bass literally vibrate in you. I guarantee you it's not and that's a real mediocre opinion.
Who was in the wrong?
Are Metallica the Simpsons of music?
Holy fuck, this is exactly, unironically the right order.
MOP=RTL>AJFA>KEA>TBA>HTSD=DM>L>Power gap>SA>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>RL
No love for Garage Days Re-revisited in here?
No one, if it wasn't for him getting booted we wouldn't have megadeth.
Thank god they kicked Dave out, otherwise we would've never got Peace Sells and RIP.
Based
RTL > KEA > MOP > AJFA >>>>>>>>>>>> everything else
Mustaine for being such a fucking douche he got sent packing back to LA from NYC
Metallica for being ducks about the way they let him go
HELLO ME MEET THE REAL ME
Put Lars instead of James in the picture.
Anyway, the answer is Lars. As usual.
Hi Yea Forums, how'ye doin?
What is some good metal kino?
This is the most brainlet of takes. Kill em All is not very good and Load and Hardwired are way better than it
You can rearrange the first four albums in any order and it would still be an acceptable ranking.
Metallica never managed to record a single song cover at least as goo as original. Each and every one of them sounds flat and boring. Literally the opposite of covers made by Motörhead.
This. I don't think there's a single song on KEA better than "Ronnie"
>But if you ever go to a concert, you feel the bass literally vibrate in you.
OK but we're talking about studio albums. Bass is drowned out in general with AJFA doing it way more to haze Jason. It shouldn't be the deciding factor to not like AJFA's sound. I'll agree that sometimes I can hear guitar wipes but overall it sounds raw and angry which I think is great
People think Lars is the asshole, but paying little attention you can see how of a douche James is and how cool guy Lars is.
Every trouble the band has had is James fault: Dave, Jason, that fight with Axl Rose.
>KEA isn't good
don't ever (You) me again
>Another night, Jon was on a chair on top of a hotel room bed with a lampshade on his head when Dave managed to upset him. Dave picked up a phone and threw it at Jon, who in return grabbed the whimpering Dave and body-slammed him. Dave left crying, and Savatage was not allowed to play the next night. Things got out of control, Jon remembers
who was in the wrong?
>People think Lars is the asshole, but paying little attention you can see how of a douche James is and how cool guy Lars is.

t. Lars
You fighting with Napster and emotionally crippling Jason to the point where he still has PTSD about it in his 40s cannot compare to stuff James has done
>getting your ass kicked by the Gutter Ballet guys
No wonder he's so fucking whiny
A year and a half in the life of metallica
Pantera home videos
Skom
Heavy metal
Airheads
Spinal tap
Hesher
Lords of chaos
Mustaine has a black belt in jiu-jitsu the fuck am I reading here
>Dave picked up a phone and threw it at Jon, who in return grabbed the whimpering Dave and body-slammed him. Dave left crying
maximum kek
He must be shit then
Lars was just the one representing the band (and music industry in general) with the napster thing, everyone else was hiding and letting him get the shit.
>emotionally crippling Jason
Is very well documented how was James the one who gave Jason the worst treatment. Jason himself says that every interview the topic is touched.
Size>knowing how to fight
Ask about it.
What the fuck was his problem?
This is... an actually good ranking.
Forgot Pic.
That's a nice table OP, where'd you find it?
>MY LIFESTYLE DETERMINES MY DEATHSTYLE
Is this a "so good it's bad" lyric or a "so bad it's good" lyric?
Too much drugs, the fact that phil is still fucking alive is a miracle. Also Down> Pantera.
funny how they started making nu-metal 10 years too late
God he sounds awful now.
Until the Light Takes Us
Some Kind of Monster
Walk Hard
too bad the video of the whole concert only exists in fragments
Kino.
>Tfw the biggest, most commercially successful metal band of all time gets BTFO by literal who cover band on youtube
Yeah. There are concerts that are better than the actual album recording. I remember Gun's n Roses had a few where they were immaculate, better than studio version - while high as fuck and smoking. Incredible.
Pro tip: Dave Mustaine is always wrong except Rust in Peace and Peace Sells
Justice is clearly the best album
Did rock/metal peak in the 90's?
James was the one who didn’t want Jason doing anything outside the band
2003, imo
There's something wrong with the drums.
After the fact
He spent his 20s being a dick to everyone and always getting his ass kicked that’s why he took up jujitsu
It’s a great line used terribly in an awful song
Rob>Cliff>Jason>Ron
Prove me wrong.
>long time metallica fan
>always avoided st anger
Even hetfield has said he doesnt like listening to it but i might have to try it now. How bad is the lou reed collab?
>putting kill em all at the top
>putting kill em all before anything but st. Anger and death magnetic
Smells like zoomer in here
No, it was the '80s, you fucking Millennial scum.
Godawful.
youtube.com
Just listen to this song. The whole album is kinda the same thing.
Lulu is life changing terrible
St Anger was basically recorded therapy sessions of a struggling band trying to survive
Mid 90's after that it went to shit.
Post metal kino.
youtube.com
Metallica had some comfy home videos.
youtu.be
Music in general peaked in the mid/late 90s. Then, for some inexplicable reason, all this prefab bubblegum boyband britney spears shit suddenly got wildfire popular like the golden era of 90s music never happened. Then in the early 00s rock type shit tried to come back via numetal and emo shit, but it didnt remotely hold a candle to the more visceral, organic stuff that came before it. Mainstream music has been a prefab shitshow ever since.
m.youtube.com
You got it pal
Rob has the most skill but is massively underutilized for what he could do
Cliff had the most potential but was taken too soon
Jason was pretty much curbstomped the moment he was born but was the highlight bass player for the concerts
Mein neger.
youtube.com
He was a decent backup singer too
still my all time fav band
> inexplicable reason
I love it when a plan comes together.
How's your beehive coming along fellas?
St.Anger wasn't that bad
>Iron Gayden
