Idk worth a shot i guess but 5 is pretty steep. I would suggest maybe releasing a earler "Lite" version for free, gain some traction then release beefed up version.

I guess I could release a demo version of the first grass world and just delete all the other worlds when I've made them.

It's alright, but there's little direction and I would've appreciated at least a tiny bit of noise.
The story seems to be nil so far, which is fine if it's a tech demo, but that definitely needs to be worked on.
A model for the gun when equipped would be nice, pointing in the direction of the mouse.

i think it looks better, but the artstyle could use some work. remember, if you want this to be something people pay for, you have to know your competition. why would I spend $5 on this when I could get something like FTL for just a little extra, sometimes even less when on sale.

If thats how youre comfortable writing then yeah. jus try to think of something coo and go from there nothing worse than forcing a wordy story if thats not actually how you Write

idk. flesh it out. i don't expect you to write a perfect story in minutes, but i don't deny it's possibility.

Not really.
Just sit down for a few hours and think of World lore and then think of a story about someone in that world. I think this way the story becomes deeper and realistic to the world

Even if you dont want full on story just look at games like Dont strave, FTL and Steamworld dig.
All benefit greatly because of the world they are told in

Maybe Dr. Z stole big chungus to open up a portal to the shadow realm so he could release critters and rule the world.
