Always liked cats, had been told I'm a bit cat-like, sort of associated with them most of my life.
Then I dropped acid for the first time.
Still like 'em just the same, but the space in my head that had the "animal I identify with" is no longer a cat, it's now a dragon. I don't remember the train of thought that led to this, but it's always stuck with me.

Oh, the dragon-trip inspired a long writing session that basically consisted of me writing out most of my demons and issues and contextualizing them and feeling like they were chained at the feet of said majestic dragon.
Bring a notebook in with you, and I personally always write a grounding message on my trusty whiteboard after I drop but before it hits me. It's good to go in with an anchor of some kind.

Mm, that reminds me. Unless you personally know the guy who laid the blotter, test every batch. I got what I think was 2CB once, and it wasn't awful, but not getting what you expect can be very jarring and difficult to make sense of mid-trip.

btw if you're around people forget the anchor, you'll be fine at 1 tab apiece.
Anyway. Do NOT smoke until at least 4 hours into the trip. You can fuck with this later but acid's strange in that the whole trip is like a sequential process, and smoking can sort of confuse the way in which you experience it. TBH first trip I wouldn't combine with anything. Maybe keep a little pot for the slightly jittery, restless feeling that tends to follow the trip (8-10 hours post-drop).
Eat beforehand, prepare snacks, the healthier the better. Junk food tastes like garbage and fruit tastes like heaven when you're tripping. Guac is a personal fave.
Differing opinions on this in every drug community. Quality resellers still get fooled every now and then. It's worth having a test kit, they're not expensive.

I was alone in my apartment when I took acid for the first time. My body started to feel shaky and I had to lay down on the couch. When I looked at the O-ring border of the ceiling's light I could see a dragon eating it's own tail... or something like that, because after some seconds it switched to some lovecraftian shit. After some minutes (or hours, I don't remember) of freaking out a lot with the lights I had the pleasure to do one of the best things you can do on drugs: listen to Tool music. Not even sex can compete with that.

I listen to Eluveitie's first album (Spirit) every time I drop alone. Start the first song the moment I feel the first waves of it hit me. Goddamn adventure that album is.

Down yes, but LSD's odd in that there's a 14-day window in which some tolerance persists, and is DEFINITELY cumulative. I won't break the 2-week rule more than once a month. Otherwise it makes the trips foggier, less satisfying, and more prone to sadness imo.

Idk what research to cite, ask around in any drug forum, someone more credible than I will fill you in. It's fairly well-known, even if most people don't know much about the mechanics of *why* it happens. Generally it's just a matter of requiring more acid to get the same effects, the mood effects are entirely anecdotal on my part.

They're similar. I've always felt like LSD is more angular, geometric, thinky, etc., with more potential to be harsh or uncomfortable as a result, while shrooms tend to be more mood-oriented, brighter, softer, less jittery.
That being said, high shroom doses beat my ass way harder than LSD ever has.

Anything that isn't acid or shrooms, this is a good rule. There's stuff in the nbome/2Cx family that's no bueno if you're taking it more than once a month, but acid and shrooms both follow the 2-week rule with almost bizarre consistency.

Haven't done it yet, but I've been planning to. There's a few big market sites still live, you'll hear about them anywhere people talk about deepnet. I'd recommend buying from a Tails installation for a little extra tin-foil in your hat, but basically have a wallet, email, etc. not easily tied to you, hop on there and find a seller that seems trustworthy. Reviews are generally legit, despite what everyone says.
Never quite settled the PO-Box vs Mom and Pop mailbox place vs just getting it to your door argument. Pros and cons to each. But googling "how I ordered acid from the deep web" will get you there sooner or later.
