Moscow is mostly similar to any other european (or eastern/central european) capital city. Instead of middle eastern/african migrants there are middle asian/caucasian/chinese migrants, they're not making much trouble though.

Migrants are quite noticeable, but they don't get much welfare payments as in western countries, they move to Russia to work there, so they're ok (even though russian nationalists say we should tighten our immigration policy)

Moscow is far more liberal than the other parts of Russia (i mean LGBT and so on), i.g. caucasian parts (on the south) are ultra conservative
