If you cover the barcode with your hand the alarm will not go off. This works on all items because anti theft devices rely on the barcode being read by the sensors by the door.

When I look at an item in a store and imagine how many days of my life I need to trade for it and look over and see a guy in a suit looking at the same item in minutes of his life sometimes I level the fucking field and steal it.

Also I have worked retail before and the only tip I can give is that if you move to a first world country like the United States then you can rob a store and not worry about being stopped.
I know the stores I worked at made it mandatory not to stop shoplifters.
They are afraid of lawsuits.
Just make it so you are not easily identified by security camera's.
Go at night as well.

Best tip get a partner either your partner or you looks dodgy as fuck they don't steal a thing.
The non dodgy one shows up a minute after the dodgy one goes the opposite direction to the dodgy one steals his heart out, then they leave the store at the exact same time. Making sure to never look at each other or be seen with each other.

If the alarm goes off the dodgy one panics gets pulled up searched but has nothing on him. The other walks out with the goods.

Another tip identify store security.
Some places have undercover security looking dodgy and shifty walking in and out you will have them following you or your decoy in no time. Sometimes if the undercover is good most of the workers won't know they work there.... but this is a rare case I've only encountered one who was that good. Didn't get busted by the way but if anyone was going to it would be him.

If you are going to steal high value items come prepared to remove the magnetic stickers on the packet 99% of the time they are on the outside or on a seperate plastic layer having a large(but not stupid for the weather) jacket usually helps learn how to remove it one handed and without looking like you are fiddling in your pocket.

Always remove things from their package. Take a box cutter with you. If you want clothing with security tags, get a pvc pipe cutting tool from Home Depot and cut off tags in dressing rooms. Works good. LP's (loss prevention) look for people acting strange and follow them. If you see the same asshole in different parts of the store then they're following you.

Mostly true resell value requires having the packet if you are stealing for you remove that shit you don't need it however if you are stealing for profit just remove the magnetic stickers.

Some stores, like Target just try to get you to drop your stuff and leave. Their LP's try to be somewhat obvious about following you. They often have a fanny pack and some earpiece to complete the look.

I love stealing from the walmart self checkout. Lately I either buy a 1.68$ tank top and put things inside when I scan or I have been taking the label from the tank top and putting it on top of the items barcode so I only pay 1.68 for whatever I ring up

It doesn't hurt if you are carrying bags from another store when you walk in you can trip the alarm and just say they must not have disabled the security device(have a receipt for all items in bags).

Then when it goes off on the way out they'll check your bags see the receipt and just assume it was a false alarm.

The best way to shoplift is, you grab a basket, put your stuff into the basket like your shopping normally, walk around the store making sure employees witness you being all normal and stuff, and then you go to the cash register and sneakily pay for your stuff. Best method, works every time.

If you see a bunch of people hanging put at the door, They're waiting to take you down. Have a plan for checking out the door that allows you to stay in the store and move to another area. That way you can ditch your plans and not get pinched. Getting pinched sucks. Youre2looking at $1k for an attorney plus fines.

Grab whatever the fuck you want be near the exit but not obviously looking at it pick your moment and just run the fuck out the door. Plenty of loss prevention won't chase you past the carpark if you have a push bike waiting they won't have a number plate or any real id on you and cops won't respond straight away because it isn't important. But if doing this always have at least 2 routes to take and a change of clothes hidden somewhere in a park or alley usually the description will be your age skin colour height clothes any visible tattoos or piercings....

1) The barcode is not what sets off the detectors. There are often little tags on or in the box that set the detectors off. Not every item has these, though.

2) Avoid security cameras.

3) Watch out for LP (Loss Protection) as they disguise as normal customers. They basically act as security.

4) NEVER STEAL FROM TARGET. Target is like the Fort Knox of stores. They always have someone watching the cameras and always have a fuckton of LP.

5) Don't shoplift more than a month or two at a single location.

6) Walmart is my favorite place to hit up, personally. That's because all their LP leave at midnight and their employees don't give a shit.

If you plan on doing it weekly, then you're going to have to go to multiple stores. What stores are you planning to go to? I have a list made back when r/shoplifting was around that shows the easiest and hardest stores.

It's still winter in the US. Take advantage of your coat pockets. If you're female or cross whatever use your handbag. Stealing is easy. Put stuff in a basket you want with a few things you plan to buy and look for a place where there is no or limited camera visibility and stuff your pockets and or bag. Don't linger around or act suspicious of course and you will get away with it every time.
Also Try to buy something so they have footage of you purchasing stuff. Don't get reckless either. Stay small time, dont try and boost electronics or anything you can't properly conceal. If you're quick you can always snatch and walk. Just dont return to that store after. Most employees are not going to risk it for their wages. Stealing is extremely easy and habit forming. That goes back to do not get reckless. It's very easy to feel untouchable and that's when you get pinched because you get sloppy and pocket something in eye contact or get spotted from previous.

Stores with a lawn and garden center are good for throwing items over the fence or sticking them through. You can even cut the fence prior to taking an item out there. I've done it many times.

When a store tries to count items you take to the fitting room, lie about what you have and they might not notice. Some places look for hangars when you leave. Take the item off the hangar and mix with other items on hangars when you go to a fitting room. Take a large number of items if you can, it's harder to keep track of for the employee. Make sure you leave a mess also. Leave items in the room, give some to the employee and take some with you. The idea is to make sure they don't know what you have.

Never steal from a store you haven't visited before. Visit several times, get comfortable. Observe and take note of areas not covered by cameras, things you want to steal, people you see. LP's don't wear store uniforms but they roam the floor day after day. Learn to recognize them. They also walk through the store in a way they can quickly see down most of the store. Usually at the end of aisles, looking down each one and then doing another sweep coming back. Once you recognize one, they look suspicious as hell.

One thing I will never ever do is steal from an independent small buisness. It is never worth making a bit of scratch or some shitty items shitting on your community.

Big chains are all fair game, fuck their million dollar a month ceo's, fuck their shareholders and mostly fuck any company who is from another country.

And if you're trying to get out with something expensive, buy a couple cheap things. I spent 25 years shoplifting before I was caught. Then I learned to do without. I have a few memorable moments. Once I cut myself really bad with a box cutter trying to open a package without looking. Blood was streaming down to the floor and I left a trail all the way out of the store. Another time I had an L.P. follow me so I picked up a 2 liter bottle of coke and went to the end of am isle. When he came around the corner, I swing it at his head, hit him in the face and knocked him back into the end cap. He fell on the floor and I quickly walked out.

One day I caught an Hispanic girl shoplifting at Kmart. She was wearing a really tight yellow dress and looked like a young mom looking for attention. She was startled when I saw her so I walked up and said you must really need that. She looked confused and I realized she didn't speak English. I walked away and then realized she was following me. I motioned for her to come a long and took her in the storeroom. At Kmart, they had these lockout rooms in the back. You would walk up the stairs and look out a one way mirror. Anyway, I got her up there and got her to strip. Then i went through clothes like I was searching them. Then I motioned for her to turn around and felt her up from behind, like I was searching her.
