Well I can control what I do in my dreams, when I was a kid I used to not be able to until I had a specific dream where I was being chased by dogs and I had the overwhelming urge to defend myself. I can't remember what it was I picked up and threw at them, but I remember I did it consciously and became fully aware I was in a dream. Since then I've been able to do whatever I want in my dreams.

Yeah, that's a pretty common thing in dreams. Do you work out any at all? That problem seemed to vanish for me when I started.
Craziest thing, years ago when I'd play Little Big Plant 2 and do the world creation thing, there was a rewind button you could hit if you messed up on something. After playing with that for a while, I gained the awesome ability to rewind time in my dreams if something happened and I didn't like how it went.
