I have been planning to buy this car for some time now however I just want peoples opinion on this car. One of my main concerns is the amount of gas it will take up. I currently have a 4cly car. So going from a 4 to an 8cly will it be a big difference?? Also what price would be pretty fair to get a 2017 2SS. The dealer is offering 33500 for one with 20k miles on it.
Only faggots and pedos drive camaros....that's why I drive a AMC gremlin

Don't buy from a dealership

They are ok, the blind spots are a pain in the ass and the headrests are uncomfortable, best to get a 2ss Modern LT engines are efficient and get decent gas mileage for what the are They are pretty damn quick also
Matthew Ortiz
If you get an automatic it has the 4 cyl eco mode hence the huge price increase. It's also a totally different engine, the manual is an ls3.
t. 2015 2ss 1LE twin turbo'd owner.
Highly recommend the suspension package with brembo brakes. Thing handles like a car half it size.

I drive a 2010 (5th gen) 1SS and have driven a lot of 6th gen SS cars like they one you're looking at because im also shopping to upgrade. I've also sold a lot of camaros as a salesman. I can honestly say they are incredible sports cars for the money. The big downside is terrible visibility. If you're concerned about gas mileage you might be surprised to find they're not that bad for a big V8 car. 35K is a tiny bit much for a 2SS with 20k miles on it. I wouldn't pay over 30-32k The 6th gen im looking to buy is a 2SS with 14k miles for 30k for comparison.
He's not buying a 5th gen. 6th gens all have an LT1 v8. Not an LS3 or L99.
Caleb Phillips
people will think you are white trash if you buy one.
Nicholas Ortiz
Huh, didn't know they switched it up. Still, the car performs and handles way better than I ever thought it would. The turbos take it to another level well over the ZL1
Logan Bailey
As if white trash can afford a newer-ish camaro. You're thinking mustangs mate.

Big difference in gas consumption daily driving unless you grandma the shit out of it. If you enjoy the feels of the newfound power at your disposal, gas consumption will be even worse. A hard pull onto the freeway will always eat a ton of gas. I've burned 4 gallons of gas in 22 miles once (running late for work, few pulls to ~120mph) and that was with a 2.0L 4cyl turbo. Plus, if you're not paying for premium gas now, you might (at least midgrade) once you get the 'maro, which hurts the pocket a bit more. If gas consumption is really that much of a concern for you, a sporty V8 might not be for you. Then again, is it range you're worried about? Price of fuel? Just having to go to the gas station? Using the horribly complex science of a fuel pump because you're from Oregon?
Jordan Murphy
As other users have pointed out, Automatic ones have Displacement On Demand, for increased gas mileage. They're reasonable in this respect. Rear visibility is low in these cars, but what modern coupe isn't? They're plenty fast, with lots of room for upgrading, have probably the highest resale value of the big 3's modern muscle lineup.
As a side note, I wouldn't buy a new one, and the earlier ones from 2010-2016 are really just the same car for less.

Poor white trash can't afford to spend 30k
Bentley Wood
brodozers, camaros, and hummers belong to the same class of people. at least you have a great theme song.
Has anyone flashed the back-up camera to stay on while driving? I had it bug out once on a cold-cold day and it was really nice since it's a wide, high-def screen.
Austin Campbell
If you have to worry about if you can afford the gas it uses, you cant afford one.
Wyatt Martin
An idiot friend of mine was cohersed by his gf to finance a USED miata with 30k-ish miles for 25k. Thing was beat to shit and when it got in a fender bender, he left it in the impound.
How do people get out from under this?
Benjamin Adams
The difference in gas mileage depends on the health of your current car. An old worn out 4 cylinder might have shittier gas mileage than a new V8.
Oliver Garcia
I drive a 1990 300ZX TT as my daily and the bitch runs... finally... What kind of car do you drive?
Isaac Miller
>cohersed
Nigger retard American monkey man
Jason Robinson
ongobongo why does my terrible spelling upset you?
Eli Nelson
that's a cool car. some guy in my town has like 4 of him that he parks on his lawn. no hate.
i drive a 2016 focus st.
Grayson Smith
I found that owning more than one is a reoccurring theme. They're such strange cars. Four wheel steering is a blast when it doesn't want to kill you.
My fav part is the dash. Makes you feel like you're in an airplane. Sadly, the 90 has two modes; full power or a trickle of air. The later years they added a dial but killed the hp and dumbed down the turbos.
Brody King
i used to work at a carwash about a decade ago and i remember some kid coming through semi-regularly with a 300zx. he treated it like shit and clearly it was given to him, but it was such a noticeable car that i still remember it to this day. kudos to you for getting yours running.
Jackson Torres
It's near mint, it just had the typical electrical fault which was fixed by replacing ALL the wiring. 90k miles, almost all stock other than some minor performance upgrade/modernization and some thicc tires.
Jaxon Wright
what color is yours? this kid's was like a cream/white color. it looked really good.
Jaxson Foster
OP here
Please stay on topic.
Also I plan to have this my daily driver. I probably won’t be doing any high speed driving unless it’s in the weekend or once in a blue moon. I live near a city and it has the 3rd worst traffic in the country. So ya I will be driving like a senior citizen in the day.
Evan Young
I had a 2011 1LT and it was super great and I just traded in recently, it was a beast for over 7 years and I never has any problems, I didn't even have to replace the battery over 7 years. I know its not exactly the same car but I loved mine and people were always mad jealous
Wyatt Wood
How many miles did you put in it?
I find it odd you didn’t have to change the battery
Lucas Cruz
get an appliance car like a used/off lease fiesta and a motorcycle. you'll thank me.
Jacob Allen
50,000 ish
Jeremiah Ross
Yup. Cream/ Mother of Pearl on black rims.
Hunter Foster
I think we reached a consensus; it's a great car, just go test drive it already.
I was in the market for an Evora and found the Camaro much more fun and better in every regard.
>The difference in gas mileage depends on the health of your current car. and the will power of your right foot i own a c5 corvette. manual 25mpg on the highway when the foot behaves.
Angel Morris
>probably won’t be doing any high speed driving unless it’s in the weekend or once in a blue moon. keep telling yourself that. maybe the foot will listen
Jack Rivera
its a camaro, not an evo
Isaiah Hernandez
whoever did THAT to any car, should be burned alive
Jose Richardson
Great driving experience especially on highways. in city the visibility is poor so the drives are a bit more engaging. Overall a very solid vehicle and I drove one thru Vermont winter with studs.
Leo Foster
that was actually the most tasteful one i could find. buy a different car. these are the people they attract.
Carson Sanders
i'm not OP. no plan on buying one. but: > these are the people they attract. no. i'v seen the same vehicle rape done to camry's
