This guy may just have actually been on Yea Forums in 2008. But raids weren't as common as you make it sound. Sure it happened 100% more often than today (never), but it wasn't every day.

People that were on Yea Forums from 04-06 are the oldfags. The first wave of newfags came in 07 when Yea Forums was first on the news. I’ve been here on and off since 06 so I’m barely an oldfag but from what I remember Yea Forums was pretty much the same but back then people raided more. I guess it’s because the site was more anonymous but that seems to be the only difference I see.
