Y'all know YV. You see him semi-regularly. You see how he is. How he talks to people. This isn't new. He's almost always been like this to some degree...but he did used to be a bit better. Until all those things happened.
YV is a deeply insecure person and the only way he knows how to deal with that anger, that fear, is through loud, obnoxious aggression. A kinda "Push them away to see if they'll stay" type. I get it. I'm like that too sometimes. But he was...for lack of a better term, bullied by what used to be the active drawcommunity.
The details are vague. Skype conversations, lies, and a jilted lover. YV allegedly was pining after someone who WAS at that time, thought to be the community bike. He wanted a ride. He was denied. And he was run through the ringer by all her little friends. He was punished. Harassed. He made a joke of a death threat which was blown out of proportion. People attempted to call the college he was attending at the time to have him kicked out. It was a moment in drawhistory.
This already angry, small, and insecure person saw himself surrounded by people who were picking him apart at every turn. He did the only thing he knew, lashed out, trolled, and made an ass of himself, but he just kept digging himself deeper and deeper.
I've been around these parts for a long time. I've seen a lot of assholes come and go. I've got my fair share of licks in on people I had a distaste for. But there was a time when I...on some level considered YV a friend, or at least an acquaintance. We had eachother added on Steam. He would play L4D with me and my wife.
