I really just enjoyed the lore and the atmosphere behind the games. Space exploration thrills me and Mass Effect was just, cool

ME1: When you talk with sovereign the first time on virmire. Best moment of the trilogy for me.
ME2: All Miranda ass shots during conversation with shepard. Also broker dlc.
ME3: Grunt sacrifice and survive during mission with rachnai

played little bit of 1 and all of 2 so I'm not an expert.
But I would say the final battle. i did a little prepping so when the reapers *SPOILER ALERT* attacked my crew and took joker i flipped out and attacked them head on. they shot though the ship like tissue paper and jack got killed, garrus got eaten by something and hung up on the illusive man. it was the first real game that slapped me in the face and said "no.... no..... bad teenager..... you need to be prepared..... or we will kill everything you loved about this game" kinda bummed i didn't get to play the last game.

By far, the best part of Mass Effect was Garrus. He was such an awesome character, from design, to actions, to voice acting.

My first time going through the suicide mission. Getting everyone out alive felt even better.

ME 1- Liara, Wrex,Garrus, and Tali
ME 2- getting all the characters to survive until the end
ME 3- when Anderson and Shephard beam up to the Citadel. that part is a better ending than the actual ending. also, the DLC with the ME 1 squad having a house party is a lot of fun

i knew some of the guys who were QA testers on ME 1. they used to make new testers play through and unlock the Shepard/Kaidan romance. which didn't exist. you could unlock most of the M/F relationship possibilities, but newbs had to spend a few playthroughs trying to make M Shepard/Kaidan happen

But the latter half of ME3 was a tragedy, to me. EA fucked up by forcing Bioware to shit it out in only a year. I would have waited 2 or even 3 years for a proper conclusion where my choices and efforts actually fucking mattered.

The final enemy. The enemy that tried to save you from a shitty ending.
