It was literally the same exact set up and story as ant-man, black panther, and iron man. They took one of the most trippiest and coolest characters and made it into a safe boring pile of shit. All the fucker did was summon a sash to kung fu fight with over and over again.

The story line was a little formulaic, hence my only calling it 'decent' in my other post. But since pretty much every comic-based movie uses that same basic story line, it seems odd to blame one movie for it when we're comparing it to other comic-based movies.
I've been reading Dr Strange comics since the 70s and I was quite happy with the way they handled him.
