Yes it's as strong, it has a different character. It travels just as much. I think you can extract hash into ethanol and then filter it and vacuum extract the thc oil. Then you can bang it into an oil pen cartridge and vape it.

If it's actual concentrate it does smell less depending on how heavily you smoke but old style brick hash is literally trim some dirty hippie put through a meat grinder heated up with a torch so it smells the same as weed

depends on how you consume it. smoke? yeah, it's just as terpy but it tends to smell less skunky and more incensey. vape? still smells because you're vaporising the aromatic compounds in the hash but it doesn't linger as long as is easier to mask because it's less "heavy". get some incense burning and a fan blowing out the window and you'll be fine, or smoke outside

I was going to smoke it but ive heard of people dabbing it? I've only dabbed with wax I can't see hash working too well - as in I've have to dab loads of times to get the effect. Anyone done it before?

No, old style brick hash was made by going through the fields and wiping off the resin from the leaves of actively growing plants. It has been produced like that for hundreds of years if not thousands before the chemical and electric methods that make the shitty hash that is popular today. Nothing beats Afghan Red or Kenya Gold.

Do you know what hashish is? It's sold in little cubes or mini bricks. Look at the picture. It's way harder to adulterate hashish than flower weed.

it doesn't work well, too much plant matter (and moisture depending on the type of hash you got), shit just gets burned on and the interior of the hash that isn't directly exposed to the banger/nail doesn't vape properly. you can dab full melt bubble hash fairly well but normal hash or normal bubble hash is just an exercise in wastefulness and futility imo

Its the thing i take out on nights out because it honestly doesn't smell in the slightest after you wrap it in something. Its the best choice for sneaking anywhere.

Even smoking it is 10x more discreet, it has some smell yes but not the same pungent recognisable aroma as weed, ive never once been taken up on it and ive smoked near bouncers and police countless times.

morocco is where most of the nasty contaminated soapbar to come from but in recent years their producers have stepped up their game - not to dispensary standards but when I see morrocan it's usually pretty good looking and smelling pollen rather than 90s dirt pucks. as we both said modern hash is pretty good, I have some charas right now and although I'm not keen on how it's made in india by farm hands slowly rubbing the plants on their hands to collect residue over the course of the way without any gloves and then rubbing their hands together to form the hash into balls - it's quite nice. pretty strong too considering it was made from landrace, maybe 15 to 20% thc if I had to guess. I usually stick with butane hash oil though, that's usually much cleaner (60-80% thc and usually close to transparent if not a light amber) than the cleanest of hash. hopefully we'll see a lot more hash produced in clean facilities with lab tests when legalization reaches europe rather than blindly trusting that the farmer didn't take a dump or something without washing his hands before rolling the charaas.

I think everybody assumed OP was talking about the smoke rather than the hash itself, to your end I agree that most hash doesn't smell anywhere nearly as strongly or as offensive as bud and is far easier to contain and conceal.
