That idea sounds at first like something that could work, but it keeps getting worse each time I run it trough my head.

First off it could only be used by one person at a time in the entire building. Second is that instead of building a small room for a bathroom you are replacing it with elevator space, which is expensive and useless unless the elevator is there. Figuring a reliable way for having running water would be a whole different problem on its own. You also add the cost of maintenance for the elevator, and the electricity it uses.

It's just some kid with a disability, in some weird sort of home made bed, it's just the angle that looks fucked.
