I just got a job that require to travel alot, i'll be at home only the weekends and i know that my relationships with my friends will fade away.

I guess if the job well affect your life that drastically (depending on how you view it), you should rethink going through with it. Not everything in life is work, their are more important shit to existence man, reflect on it.. And if it is something that would push toward a more negative spot in life, then find another job.
Personally I think traveling or alone time is wonderful with the right mentality, your friends will be there if they are true to your friendship or even care about you

The first 3 are self explanatory but for FWBs sometimes when I was somewhere new I would adopt a false persona. Fake name, fake home town, fake everything. I enjoyed raw dogging girls who would be chasing a ghost if they ever tried to pin me down for child support. It was a fun phase.
