What you want to learn is called Technical Analysis. You want to be able to clearly identify trend changes, as well as momentum and relative strength. I’d recommend pouring a few weeks into it, so you don’t lose your ass.

Same philosophy applies to real estate. Sure, you can invest in a ton of land in Trinidad. But if Trinidad isn’t growing, or the economy isn’t developing, that money will be lost.

Opportunity cost is another huge factor. If Trinidad isn’t growing as fast as other places, then Trinidad is not the wisest place to put your money. From what I understand, India is expanding and developing rapidly. Maybe invest there (but live far, far away)

i have a basic understanding of technical analysis i can look at the candlestick graph really hard and determine good stop points down/up trends and ranges
