random question, how often do you fags text your mom? I only ask because I'm 26 and she texts me on a daily basis and gets angry/worried if I don't respond, but I don't have the heart to tell her to chill the fuck out.
Also, if I tell her anything about my life I will absolutely never hear the end of it. For instance, I was recently dumped so I told her I was feeling a little down, so i have received 5 emails (as well as texts) over 2 days regarding the subject, with the last one being a passive aggressive "i know i'm crossing the line emailing you so much, but...-"
My brother died at 27 so I know she's having a rough time, but she has always been like this with him and I. It was my new years resolution to call her once a week so that we could stay up to date without all the texts/emails, but it doesn't seem to help.

I realize it sucks and it will drive you apeshit, but just deal with it. One of her children died, she's gonna' be clingy. That's your mom, deal with some aggravation if it will help make her feel better. At least it's better than the opposite, your mom not giving a fuck(though it won't feel like that sometimes).

you have to be patient with her. she loves you, she misses you. it's totally normal, there is no love like a mother loves her son. let her know that you are busy, and you will call her on your way home from work.

I'll be 42yo pn Thursday, and I speak with at least one ofmy parents on a daily basis. Having said that, my parents kick ass, and we are part of a very large, and very close family. My mom is 1 of 12 siblings. My father, 1 of 5. I have about 60 cousins. So, I know that my situation is out of the norm, but I like it
My father, is currently on a transplant list for lungs. He's dying from a condition called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. We were close my entire life, and only closer now. Considering your situation, be grateful that your mom's problem is that she may care too much. There are all types of shitty parents, whether physically, emotionally, or sexually abusive. That's if the parent doesn neglect, or abandon them. Be like me, and consider yourself one of the lo ucky ones, with a mom that is at the very least above average. The day is going to come, when she's not going to be here. You'll hope, wish, or pray that she'll text you one more time. That text will never come, once she's gone. Count your blessings, while you can.
