Never heard of that. Just had a strawberry Mexican ice cream pop.

i only buy expensive ice cream, because i don't eat it often. if i'm going to have it, i'm going to have excellent ice cream. it's just a waste to eat cheap shitty ice cream.

same goes for hamburgers. i don't eat them regularly, so when i do i'm going go eat an excellent one, rather than a fast food one.

Ice cream is good. I enjoy vanilla ice cream cones with hardened chocolate on the ice cream.

i think that's really a matter of preference. not to say i don't sometimes want a burger from 5 guys, but i mean that i don't get like blue bell ice cream, or mcdonalds cheeseburgers.

i'd put them at like, the lowest i'd be happy with. they're solid burgers, and i don't think you can get anything better quality for the price. we have a lot of local food where i live, so i have the luxury of being particular about that.

the problem is that i'd only be able to recommend mass-market stuff, since i don't know where you live. talenti, for example, is a solid gelato. it's got a nice mouthfeel and doesn't have the gritty crystal structure that a lot of gelatos suffer from.

really your best bet is to try local places and make your own decisions. there's not a "wrong ice cream" or a "wrong burger" so long as you enjoy it. just always try new shit. even if you live in a small town i'm sure there are restaurants you've never visited, and meals you haven't tried.

yeah i think he's just trolling you. castoreum use in vanilla isn't all that common, it's usually a synthetic vanillin. it's incredibly cheap to produce in bulk.

no reason to be upset about the source of chemical feedstock though. carmine red dye is from insect scales, and shellac is a food glaze from insect resin. i mean, the water you drink came from filthy oceans full of dead animals and feces, but it's been purified now.

I like ice cream sandwiches but many because of the sandwich part. The ice cream just compliments it nicely.
But is would always prefer a kinder milk sandwich over ice cream. I could eat a million kinder milk sandwiches.
