For those of you in college or recently finished, I have a question. Is it just me or are tutors, generally speaking, insufferable cunts and unpleasant to deal with as people? It seems like no matter how much I go to tutoring it's always the same, I get some bullshit attitude or they give off this vibe like they're doing me a favor or something, even though they're obviously being PAID to be there and it's literally their job. The other day I went to tutoring for Calc 2 and the cunt that was there was studying and getting tutored herself for another class, even though she was suppose to be helping me. I really don't know what to do or think here. It makes me not want to go to tutoring anymore because I'm really getting tired of this. This is literally every time and its like pulling teeth. Has anyone else had a similar experience with tutors or is it just me? Anyone here a tutor themselves?

Sounds like dumbass selfish 18-21 year olds with no pride in their job who are giving you a bad time
The "boss" in this case I think would be the chair of the math department, and I can almost promise you he will not give two shits about my complaints. But yeah, that's exactly what it is and they're all minorities so the effect is multiplied by like 10x.

Like pin it to a bulletin board or print out 50 copies and leave them all over the tutoring department.
Sometimes those selfish tutors dont even realize how shitty they are being and seeing the letter will straighten them up.
And sometimes a public complaint can cause great change from authority figures.

They are paid to be there, not to explain to you 4 times the same stuff, also the good ones have to prepare the stuff beforehand

For math 1 and math 2 there are pretty good tutorials on YouTube, because everyone in stem has to do the stuff with more or less depth

They are there to explain the stuff you did in that class, mostly math tutors have to explain the basics again and again tho
That sounds like a waste of time in all honesty. I get what you're saying but I seriously doubt these people give a shit. It just pisses me off because I'm serious about my grades and want to learn and yet I still get treated like shit by these fucking assholes. But if I had blonde hair and huge tits I bet those people would be tripping all over themselves to tutor me. The whole is fucking ridiculous.
What you just said makes no sense. What do you think a tutor is? Also I don't care if they have to explain to me 1000 times, it's literally their fucking job.
