Comfy thread
It's a shame there aren't many comfy threads
Saul APPROVES of this wholesome content
I don't know who Saul is, but I'm glad he approves of this thread
That makes me feel warm in the belly. Keep being awesome little nip hobbit shopkeepers.
So what's everyone up to? I'm trying to get comfy by listening to an audiobook of the second Lord of the Rings book while fighting a minor hangover from last night.
Not that user, but I've always wanted to go to Japan and go to one of those small stores
Saul is the River Devil, but hes not bad, hes comfy and he approves of this thread.
Haven't been to Japan yet but visited Vietnam. Super chill and nice people. Plan on going back ASAP.
Nordic Hobbits!
About to start smoking 3 racks of baby back ribs and then play vidya with my kids and wife.
Was there any particular reason you went to Vietnam, or just for a vacation?
>and then play vidya with my kids and wife
Which vidya if I may ask?
cool, but what if it snows hard? you got flooding problems.
Vacation with my wife and 9 yo daughter. Went to Hanoi and Cat Ba island for 2 weeks over Xmas. Went there because we got a good air deal $2400 for all 3 round trip. Super cheap to stay once you get to Hanoi BTW.
As for the games we are currently playing Overcooked 2, Ultimate Chicken Horse, ADIOS amigo, and Astroneer.
I'm pretty sure this is in a place where it doesn't snow. Or at least I hope it is. I don't like dealing with snow either.

That's a really good price. I wish I could vacation somewhere. Unfortunately, I've never left Burgerland...
A single ticket was $900 for adults. About $50 for a visa and you'll need a passport. Once you get there you can literally live comfortably on $15/day. If you want 4 star treatment bank on $100/day. If you want ass kissing accommodations, food, massages etc maybe $175/day. Seriously a beer and a bowl of pho ba is about $1.75. Hostels start at $7/night. 4 star hotels run about $60/night. Grab taxi across town is maybe $3. Cell phone plan with unlimited 4g and 2 hours local talk time gonna run you about $12 for 2 weeks.
If you stay in a 3+ star place they all serve breakfast too. I recommend the Amorita Boutique Hotel in Hanoi.
ya
That sounds nice. I think I'm just scared of traveling to a place that's too different from where I live.
ya
Don't be. It will be a culture shock. This was the first time I've ever been outside the states besides Canada or Mexico. Especially in tourist areas you can communicate in English. For everything else Google translate, Google maps, calculator app and grab app will get you set up. It is a very safe place and has great night life. Just walk around the streets and point at what looks good to eat. If you learn a couple basic phrases It will endear you to them and they will be amused and give you better deals.
I feel like driving on the left side of the road would take some time to get used to
I haven't even been to Canada or Mexico unfortunately... I would prefer to go to a German-speaking place because I'm currently learning it and I want to practice it on real people. By the way, how old are you? You sound really experienced.
maybe
Fucking horrific.
I can already smell the mildew
no fighting in the comfy thread pls :(
What in the fuck
Not comfy
MOAR PICTURES!!!!!!!
I have this in my wallpaper folder and it's one of my favorites
i like it a lot too
39
Not to sound rude or anything, but if you're 39, have a family, and seem to be successful, why do you come to this Bangladeshi kite-testing forum?
This picture seems to be posted in every comfy thread and for good reason
Nigga that's from the secret world
Oh my god, I love this. I might make this my phone wallpaper someday
Because it is amusing (though this has gotten worse). Also never forget degeneracy cuts across all of humanity. There is alot to be said for the anonymous format of Yea Forums. We need more places where free speech can actually get practiced.
Also I would love to travel to Europe but the cost of accommodations and food are just too steep. To save money on travel you gotta get to places that still aren't developed all the way. Besides if you go to Germany the Germans will all speak better English than you because they have an actual functioning education system.
Agreed
Personally I'm a big fan of the "spooky" or haunting vibe of one's like this.
Yeah, I kind of realized that, but I was already too far into learning German. Looking back, I wish I learned more Spanish than just in high school, French, or even Japanese.
I really want to go there. It looks so warm and inviting.
I took 5 years of it. I have been able to use it on two occasions. Seemed like a good idea at the time should have taken Spanish.
You took five years of German?
How does one make their room comfier?
Ja!
Du bist miene sexuelle spielsache!
Ich habe grow brusts gern!
how about you come to berlin i live here and i can say its a really nice city with plenty of murals
or you go to the elbsandsteingebirge and do some hiking with real nice view
groß not grow
Get a wiafu to cuddle up with and watch Netflix
sweet home albama
This picture makes me happy and sad at the same time
Ich auch
I've actually considered living in Germany or at least going to visit sometime
Well, I guess my room will never be comfy then...
Because you can't have children?
at least you can read german poems which is in my eyes very nice
I think that's supposed to be his grillfiend/wife/etc
I can smell the stale IC light and dirty Pittsburgh girl pussy.
Alles fuer dich
But she's clearly a child. It's weird to fantasise about that.
Are you sure? I actually reverse-image searched it and I found that to be a couple.
its definitely a gf
im german and i have to learn english in school and a second language for which i chose spanish
nice combo
how many foreign language do you have to learn i american schools?
They're not real guys? Clearly not familiar with human proportion if you think it looks like anything but a child
Not that user, but in my high school, you could go through it without even learning a language. I took Spanish because it was easier than French (my high school only offered two languages, unfortunately). I only learned German in the past couple years first on my own and then as a requirement in college. I can't tell you how many times I cringe into oblivion when I hear people say "No speako spanisho" or something like that.
Clearly you're not familiar with geometry because she's slanted
if so please dont choose to live in a university city like marburg
as a scholar in university i have to say its nearly impossible to study due to high rental prices which are caused by forgein people who can pay more than scholars for the flats
so you dont have to learn foreign languages
in germany we are forced to learn english (or french but most people choose english as first foreign language)which isnt bad but most highschools force you to learn a third language which is kinda needless if you want to do something with science or math
you still can do it with just english on some schools but it looks bad on job applications if you "just" speak english snd german
>the Germans will all speak better English
as a german in his mid-30's, I must intervene. Most people under 40 understand some english, but the majority, even younger people, aren't that good at it. Maybe those in their teens and early 20's speak it well, but with ppl 25+ and it's more than likely they aren't anywhere near "good" at english.
>slanted
Y'mean leaning? Even so, stand her up straight, and her head would still be the size of a child's.
anons right but as a tourist in abig city you wouldnt have any problems with people not understanding you
only problem you get are german announcements in subways which tell the passengers to leave the train because the train company fucked something up
in that case just do what everybody else does
lol yeah. Follow the herd! (fo reel in the case of everybody leaving something suddenly)
yeah but dont overeacted if something like this happens
Get nanoleaf aurora
>so you don't have to learn foreign languages
It's not a requirement, unfortunately. The worst thing is that my school didn't offer language classes until 9th grade (around age 14) and not earlier like it should've been
Those things actually look pretty rad. I might buy some some day
Fuck yeah Wales
Are you Welsh?
Is the couch blocking the door?
Ye boi
How many Welsh people can actually speak Welsh? The only thing I know about Welsh is that two ds make the "th" sound.
Not many. I think it's around 20%, but they're all up north or in the valleys. It's a bit of a meme around the south as all road signs by law have to also be in welsh but no one can understand them
That's funny. It's kind of like how a lot of products have Spanish subtitles in America and even French subtitles in northern America (where I live)
I'd like to do an comfy discord server
Who the fuck puts the stove in the corner
I just realized that
