Dunno what you mean by "my doctors dont give me much time", but as long as your body can handle it, just do keto. I haven't done it myself but every person I know who has done it just says it's tough at first because your body has to get used to no carbs and supplementing carbs with lots of fat (I'm type 1 diabetic so even though I technically could do it I'd rather just do standard dieting)

Keto, OMAD, 2000 calories a day. It will just fall off. You'll feel sick as shit for a week as your body fights you kicking your obvious carb addiction.
If you feel like you want a snack, drink a bunch of water and go for a mile walk. No need to work out during your weight loss. Just walk when you feel like you're going to cheat.
Quit junk food, cook.
Use mostly "slow" carbs: whole-grain bread, cereals, whole-wheat pasta etc. Forget potatoes and white flour.
Use only lean meat, skinless chicken breast etc. Do not eat any pre-cooked frozen shit.
Get calorie-counting app, like cronometer or myfitnesspal. Eat with roughly 500ccal deficit. If you get hungry - go for a walk/jog to burn calories so you can eat more.
Also drink a glass or two of water before each meal. It helps to satiate hunger by stretching your stomach, tricking your body.
Stop eating, just drink water, it will be shit first few days but then you'll stop getting hungry

That's your base carbohydrates (carbs), that shit will make you gain weight, find out what carbs you eat also, bread, rice, pasta, and cut that out also.
2. First week write down everything you eat. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks everything, this will give you an idea what your eating on average
3. Weigh yourself, from the start that's your base.
A: 1,2,3 is the base
4. Everything you eat has a calorie count.
4a. Know the serving side and how much in that serving size.
5. Google "Calorie chart per Weight" it looks like this, follow it AS you lose weight.

This is good advice except for telling you you'll be sick as fuck for 2 weeks. Maybe a week, and you wont be "sick as fuck". You'll just feel shitty, headache, low energy, moody, etc. Just power through it.

myself, i am a little careful with the enormous amounts of fats that are being pushed in a keto diet, i eat fats from avocado, fish, butter, heavy cream, MCT oil and more so i do get fats, but i am a little careful
myself, i dont like calling this a diet but rather a lifestyle change - i will stick to this lifestyle as long as i live and if i get skinny then i might add a tiny amount of wholegrain rice to the mix :)

Water fasting is the best option don't eat food drink lots of water workout regularly and keep off your ass. 1 pound of fat is 3500 calories you're goal is to burn about 4,000 which is pretty easy. You can probably lose a lot in 2 months so find the average weight for your height but don't reach that number go about 10 lbs above and work out and diet for the rest 10 lbs.
