usually you end up talking on the phone and shit, but ya, back in the 90s early 2k when chatrooms were popular talked to many girls this way, a lot of the belief was you can be whatever you want online

idk, its complicated

in like the early 2000s it was different but today you have high quality voice calls and fuck even video and shit

so theres a very good chance theyre as shitty as offline relationships

>met this girl online
>spent a lot of time on voice chat
>exchanged numbers, starting "dating"
>had plans to meet up at some point
>find out she's cybering some other dudes in her MMO
It hurt. I let myself get too emotionally invested in something that barely had any groundwork.
Just make sure you know what it means, at what it will, or won't lead to.
Don't get too wrapped up in something that will never lead to a real relationship.

this

also from experience, it ended very badly

only retards do that, how is it a relationship without sex

THE NUDES DUDE

THE NUDES

that girl is ridiculous cute

i'm actually mad at how cute she is

meanwhile most of us are ugly af
life isnt fair

Awful, do not recommend. I have had about 5 online relationships and all of them were terrible at the worst of times and lonely at the best. My only regret is I had a really hot girlfriend in the Midwest who wanted to send nudes so bad but I dissuaded her for my own moral sakes, what a fool I was then--I thought it would work so there would be plenty of that to see later on. She looks pretty much exactly like that girl Ciara I see on here, same name too, but she was much less ratty looking than the Yea Forums one. I doubt they're the same person, but I always chuckle at the coincidence when I see her posted

They suck for the most part. It's nice to be able to pour your heart out to someone you can really be yourself around. I find being myself around someone in person is difficult and online relationships solve this problem. It's lonely and one of you will always be more attached than the other. Nudes are nice but I found myself deleting them after breaking up because it hurt too much to see them afterwards. Not good if you genuinely get attached to people and are paranoid of people lying to you and whatnot. Online relationships are good to explore who you are really as a person but they aren't particularly a good experience
