Well I didn’t read whatever the earlier poster said. But the most publicized proposal of dems this year so far has been the Green New Deal: a plan primarily focused on the expansion of the federal government for the sake of environmentalism.

Of course it’s much more complicated than that, but it doesn’t take a genius to realize that these kinds of proposals aren’t exactly focusing on the issues that say a car manufacturing worker in Indiana really cares about.
