Back when there were more regulars and when most of those regulars were NEETs, overnight chains were common and the record was 100+ threads over two weeks. Nowadays just having a thread on two days in the same week is noteworthy, let alone continuous.
But box always ebbs and flows. Sword and Shield generated a fair amount of hype, which is good to see. Hopefully it keeps the threads/discord perked up for awhile.

That's unfortunately pretty common these days. A lot of the most conversation either moved to the discord or was carried by people who have moved on. I wish there was an easy way to bring it back, but small talk isn't really my forte and I'm usually filling requests so there's a pretty set volume of posts that makes the gulfs seem wider than they already are.
