It's not the notion of "conservative" that sets us off. It's the asshole behavior. To that end, two reasons come quickly to mind:
1. Because we read 1984 a long time ago, and are aware of the consequences of complacency in the face of a fascist government.
2. Because many of us were alive in the 1980's when Reagan duped Gorbachev into spending 70% of the USSR GDP on missile defense systems, in order to counter the U.S. "Strategic Defense Initiative." You remember the laser satellites, right? That one act bankrupted the Soviet Union and resulted in the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. The USSR broke apart into all those separate states, small pockets of organized crime grew into larger syndicates. Now Putin runs them all - and is hellbent on extracting revenge on the US.
It's working. Putin's bitch is in the White House. The NRA owns most of the GOP members of Congress. Russian bitcoin underwrites deza on Facebook, Twitter, and Fox News.
Every singe member of Trump's staff is woefully underqualified, and it will take years (or even generations) to fix what damage this turd has caused our country and the world.
Yes, there are specific instances of capable Staff (e.g. Kelly) but there are far more who are obviously planted with the intent to do damage to our republic.

Yeah I mean trying to answer this question is like trying to deprogram one of those flat earth bozos. If you have to ask you aren’t gonna understand. It’s pretty obvious that the right after realizing they were reeling, went with the strategy of appealing to the loudest craziest supporters they have left. I mean if this isn’t a death knell I don’t know what is. The whole modern world is going towards equality and globalism, you guys are stuck in some imagined past. It’s extremely frustrating to have to fight an uphill battle against people with no moral center or understanding of the modern world. And the lack of any empathy from most of the figureheads of the right is bewildering to me. I truly just don’t understand going through life with such a selfish attitude. If anything tears this country down, it will be the unconscionable greedy shits.
