I think of him as not only one of my favorite authors and the poster child of libertarianism, but based on so many levels, it's almost infinite. A true prototype created by God Himself, too weird to live, yet too rare to die. And his book about him with the Hells Angels is definitely worth a read. Overall, a treasure of humanity and the world over. Honestly, one of my role models and personal heroes.
