Japan Airlines Flight 123. Shit is haunting. The pilots were unbelievably heroic though. They kept the plane in the air with all hydraulic control destroyed for up to 30+ minutes. They tested multiple skilled pilots in a simulation and none of them could do it.

This is graphic of how the plane crashed. 01:40 truly terrifying as those in the back watched the front of the plane disappear and they apparently had about 20 seconds of flying with half the plane missing. They we're looking at night where only seconds before were other passengers.
