Sounds like you need to change your transaction model after this blows over. You should never accept a customer's money before you are able to provide the service unless you have an absolute guarantee on either end. If they are underpaying find a way to cancel the money transfer (or hand over the wad of cash) until they will give you enough. Doesn't matter that they're Vietnamese or in a gang: in over the table dealings you do it official or risk indictment. This means your best bet is getting beat up, but your worst bet is getting beat up and fined/incarcerated. Did you do a bulk deal with an up front payment? Most state laws limit the amount that can be sold to a person at once, and I can comfortably postulate that $50k pays for well over an ounce or two (the limit in my state, probably yours too). Reimburse them and tell them to do it right or do it elsewhere unless you want them to have the excuse to kick your shit in. If you make them do it right they'll be pissed, but less so than from feeling cheated when you underdeliver on their massive yet stingy order

Yea, so the backup plan is if I have to, I will return the cash plus 5-10k tomorrow for their troubles. Furthermore, they operate a lab (which is how we met) that we are facilitating a massive biomass Hemp CBD deal (totally legal federally) and they built out the lab with their own cash, so they need our help.

It was rushed. We lost our farm, everything got chopped down (central cali), and we are overextended on borrowing from investors. One of our partners who is an old silicon valley fuck lost 70k on credit cards on that deal and started to come calling. My other partner promised three boxes at 250 a lbs (ludicrously cheap) and so I made the deal, only to be told days later we would likely be short. And they promised everything to a third party themselves who is not as understanding.
