Some of the stories on SA were pretty interesting - one massive thread in particular that I'll never forget was a guy who had a summer job at a slaughterhouse. It's amazing how those everyday stories were a lot less accessible in the pre-YouTube days before people vlogged or blogged.
It took a few years but eventually my other online communites faded away and died and Yea Forums was pretty much all that remained. YTMND had a bunch of Chanology stuff and it made me interested to browse the site more often. I remember the fateful morning that Boxxy's vid was first being posted and she became a meme.
