I threw you a bone and listened to some of it.

I actually thought it was pretty OK, but it didn't strike me as especially original--there are a lot of muddy-guitar/lazy-singer/indie/lo-fi/pop-rock/etc. outfits out there cranking out songs in their bedrooms, and there have been for more decades than you've been alive.

Reminded me of the Vaselines, the cleaner bits of Half Japanese, maybe Acid Ghost for a more recent example, and a bunch of others. There are shitloads of them, and I doubt that even the famous ones make a decent living at it. So I would not quit your day job/would go back to having a day job. And I'd get rid of the clownish profile pic (those are novelty glasses, yeah?). But keep it up, why not.

Do you have a band? Can/do you actually gig? If so, I'd get on that rather than just spamming Yea Forums (do those pompous jackals like you?) and trying to push Soundcloud listens. Maybe diversify your internet platform a bit, too--don't musicians need a YouTube presence and an Instagram (and whatever else) to attract broad attention? I have a couple of shit projects on Soundcloud, and while I will cop to not trying to promote them at all, the only people who have ever listened are personal friends, and the only people who have followed/favorited/whatevered me are bots. I guess it works better for people who are seriously digging into the platform, but I don't see Soundcloud and Yea Forums being realistically sufficient for building a serious following (especially this shithole). Letting people see and hear you in person seems a critical part of people actually being into you rather than just randomly clicking shit, and people who have seen and enjoyed you will amplify your shitclickers.

Also, I was listening on my phone in a toilet, so I couldn't understand the lyrics, but the song titles do not suggest great poetry. Not necessarily a damning flaw, but just some unsolicited outside impressions.

I don't have a band I record everything except the drums and then send it to a drummer on fiverr. I used to play live but I moved in w my dad to a small country town to afford reddit ads to pursue my music and theres no venues here. thanks for checking it out

Try getting someone else to do vocals seeing as its not your priority you have potential you just need to focus at what your good at and get others to makeup where you lack skill
