When you're using some other company to control ads positively or negatively, then each request still goes though them and time and time again those companies have been shown to be paid off to allow certain ads to go through. I'd much rather control that myself and once a proper block list is made over time it's highly efficient and effective and doesn't go through anyone but myself.
