What does Yea Forums think of my music
My ambition in life is to be a SoundCloud meme
I take out reddit ads and post on Yea Forums every day I'm at 40k plays I made like 13 albums in a year

Ehh, are you inspired by Ash perchance?
Sounds a lot like it.

No thanks for listening though

Not listening, just want to tell you that you will eventually give up when you don’t get anywhere. Try not making an album a month, that just means you’re shitting out music instead of trying. You are more pathetic then the guy who wants people to watch him fuck ramen. I’d watch that before I listen to another desperate person making noises on their computer.

I'm not making computer noises I'm playing guitar not that there's anything wrong with computer noises

no offence but your voice hurts my ears
also balance the fucking audio jesus christ

I made it about 20 seconds and couldn't take any more.

Idk I did my best w the singing and production they're not my strong points thanks for checking it out

Appreciate u taking the time to listen

Who cares you’re not special. stop trying to pick up a fan or two on degenerate forums. I can smell your massive need for approval from here.

this is as good a place as any to share stuff I appreciate any listeners

Dude. You've been doing this for so long and never take any of the amazing constructive criticism or advice given to you. These threads all play out the same. At this point you're just wasting the time of people who haven't seen the dozens of past threads you've already posted.

I don't wanna rerecord everything and get te same results or lose my originals or waste my time/money I have goals I'm trying to reach I wanna start a career following my passion

No it’s actually not retard. Places like Spotify, iTunes, youtube, SoundCloud, those are places to share your music. What’s wrong? People in your real life not praising you enough so you hope that internet strangers will tell you that you’re not just like the millions of other suckers who think they have even a slight bit of talent? Seriously, nobody wants to hear it. If you ever get popular, the fact you spam Yea Forums will come back to haunt you. You willingly chose to post your music in a forum full of traps and racism, so it immediately tells me that you are a failure in life and in music, and your last ditch attempt to get a tiny bit of clout is label yourself as meme music, and fart out as much content as you can, before you eventually kill yourself when reality sinks in 10 years from now.

Posting your music on soundcloud and not promoting it somehow makes ur music impossible to find like a needle in a haystack I have to get my name out there somehow. I use reddit ads but they’re expensive. This is important to me and i don’t wanna give up I have dreams and goals or whatever and I’ll hustle my ass off to get to where I wanna be

Dead in ten years, fact. /thread

You think posting to Yea Forums is promoting yourself? You ever heard of the term target audience? Only a degen would think posting on Yea Forums is “grinding to make his dreams come true” hahahaha

Maybe I’m delusional and have shit taste but I think my songwriting at least different and interesting enough to have an audience for it somewhere I’m just tryna find it.

I already take out reddit ads targeted to music subs but idk b is an interesting place

13 albums in a year. Dude you can’t expect people to sift through all that for the handful of hits or even the one album they like.
Spend time making something you think amazing, don’t just crap out music. Quality > quantity.

>I wanna start a career following my passion
not the guy you're replying to but starting a career implies catering to the needs and wants of an audience. Being recognized from your passion is great, being able to make it a career will ask for compromise.

Won't listen though, just shitposting, I already got my own thing going.

It's all good quality imo except for one album that I hate (the black one with the heart I don't like too much)

I don't wanna sell out to make what people want I wanna find people who enjoy my shit for what it is

Bump

you will. They just won't pay for it, or not enough for you to make a career out of it. If you think improvement gets in the way of your creativity, it won't get any better.

Also, agree with others, give me the name of one single fucking artist that made a career out of music and released 13 albums in a year ? I am sure we would not have to much trouble finding an example of the contrary.

Get a fucking youtube channel not a soundcloud if you wanna promote your shit.

You can litteraly fucking pay bigger channels to diffuse your shit if it's decent enough, with a link to your fucking channel.

Better than fucking ads. Have you ever seen an ad for an artist you've never heard about and actually clicked it ? What kind of an audience are you looking to hit ? Do you think your core audience maybe uses addblock and listen to fucking compilation or youtube instead of clicking fuckind ads ?

You career does not look good to me.

If you were hustling your ass you'd be playing live. It's rare to become YouTube famous and SoundCloud is dead

youtube helps a lot to actually play live. When you find people who likes what you do, they'll want to know if you play live. When you have enough people wanting for you to play somewhere, someone will throw you a bone to a small festival (guess if you play classic guitar maybe not) or you'll be able to put together something yourself maybe.

It's all about playing the YT game, doing collabs, commenting a lot, putting a bit yourself in the vids, drive engagement etc ...

This guy can shit out 13 albums in a year, can you imagine if he puts a bit of effort in some shitty commentary on the side or whatever is the trend now ? More views, you play your intro or plug in your music somewhere in the vids. Make intros/outros for people etc..

Not to mention, with the metrics its so easy to determine what your audience wants.

keep up the great work

I used to play live I moved in with my dad to afford Reddit ads bc online seemed more important

I hope this is some kind of copypasta or troll, it is so bad

AND he leaves in a small town where there's no venues

If your music is anything like your hair it's probably retarded.

You seem to be delusional.

Here's some advice though..

>get vocal lessons, you sound lazy. nobody likes a person that doesn't sound like they are confident
>mix better, you seem like you want the guitars and vocals to stand out at the same time
>composition techniques referring to the guitars and vocals, remove and add elements based off what you want your listener to be focused on

Well one positive note is that you seem to have structure.

My mom keeps telling me to get voice lessons but I don't want to
I know my mixing sucks I tried my best
Thanks for checking it out and for the advice
