Question. Has anyone thought of casting a bong in epoxy or urethane to make it stronger and less prone to cracking? Like the same u would do to a table top? I've been working with epoxy on wood but never for glass and it struck me as a way to make it more durable but theres alot of variables like shrinking and how thick I would need to make it. Any thoughts? I've been working with Devcon 2 ton 2 part epoxy and I'm thinking of using that on em.
Question. Has anyone thought of casting a bong in epoxy or urethane to make it stronger and less prone to cracking...
if you want a durable bong, I recommend e ones made of food grade silicone with glass downstems and cone pieces.
you have to be sure to change the water regularly, but I used the one I had for 2 years constantly. It never broke, I just was gifted a nicer glass bong and learned how to take care of glass.
Silicone bongs are safe, inexpensive, durable, unique. They can come in infinite deigns, and they usually have bottoms with suction. I still prefer well maintained glass. But if durability is your focus
answer the question! I don't want a bong thats already strong. I want a weak one that's handcrafted and I wanna make it stronger. I knew someone was gonna say this.
you're question is retarded.
sometimes you have to spend money to get things that don't suck.
you can't nigger rig everything.
Answer the question!
I'm buying the gk3 triple geyser perc by hisi you moist ass bitch. But its notorious for cracking and I WANNA KNOW IF SOMEONE HAS CASTED SOMETHING IN EPOXY TO PREVENT CRACKING OR BREAKING! YOU MOIST ASS BITCH!
And what part of my question is retarded? Is there something I should know about glass and epoxy?(which would be the information I'm looking for you, fuckin window licker)
no
>cares about durability
>buying something
>"notorious for cracking"
the part where you wanted to coat a bong in epoxy. That is the retarded part.
the bong has been around for 2,400 years and in that time no one thought it was a good idea to do that, and even if someone else did it clearly didn't catch on.
...... I get that its unconventional and alot of work for nothing but the design of the triple geyser perc makes for the smoothest draw and cleanest hit I've ever had in a bong. Visa Vi why I'm trying something out if the box. I'm guessing you dont use epoxys on stuff and your just suggesting a silicone cause u haven't tried an expensive piece. Yes I get they are notorious for cracking but the high and smoothness outweigh the fragile design of the piece. This is why I'm trying something weird. If you cant answer my retarded question with epoxy or application knowledge then go fuck yourself with a plastic bong.
put mustard on your bong.
