Violence never solves anything

>violence never solves anything

Do you agree? Why/Why not?
Has violence directly solved a problem in your life?

violence solved the Roman-Punic conflict

what about threat of violence?

Violence can solve many things. Someone constantly threatens you, you punch them in the face and they stop. Problem solved.

That can be an indirect method of violence.

Without violence there is no Freedom

Looks like he's going to get whacked in the nuts

Then they stew over it, buy a gun, come to your house and kill you and everyone else there.

I dont agree with that statement. Violence does work. Has allways worked. There might be some exceptions, but most people will give into violent actions. Im talking about the everyday avrage joe. I mean yeah, you might belive ur a badass and all. But when ur being beat to shit by 3 dudes with bats you ur gona give into it one way or another.

Remember how WW2 ended whith soldiers of Axis and Allies hugging each other? Good times.

And another time when America droped A-bomb on Japan it solved nothing and Japs stayed violent imperialists.

but
he won't be threatening you anymore
problem solved with violence

IMO If it's not extreme it doesn't solve anything.

violence is the ultima ration, necessary to be used when a point is reached where dialogue, trade and coercion have failed.
Who refuses to bend needs to get broken. Else you will be the one to brake.

You can solve anything with anithing. But violence is easiest and cheapest way most of the time. We are animals after all and for animals violence is the only way to resolve conflicts. Every living creature understands language of violence. It's the only true lingua franca of humanity

*ultima ratio (final action)

violence can solve problems
it also tends to create problems

No it continues. It's a cycle of revenge and retribution.

that is why you need to kill everyone that could possibly seek revenge

No, you learn to be more skilled at violence

No. They don't. They feel like a little bitch for about 2 days and get over it.

In my experience, one act of domestic violence usually ends a conflict. Now if you were to kill someone, i can imagine someone trying to get revenge

When I was a kid, this bitch ass nigga from the neighborhood was trying to bully me, and worse, trying to convince other people to fuck with me too. One day in the park, he tried to take my hat. I snapped and started swinging. We went at it, and I won. Even after the fight was technically over, I gave him a few extra shots that weren't really necessary, but I wanted to make a point. After that, he didn't give me problems again, and in fact, other people started fucking with him for getting his ass handed to him by a smaller guy that he was trying to make a punk out of.

So, yes. Violence solved a problem for me on at least one occasion

Violence solves a lot of problems.

"Violence doesn't solve anything" is a belief held be weak people to claim moral superiority in their harmlessness, despite the fact that the very society they enjoy is secured only by a severe threat of severe violence.
Violence is the duct tape of solutions: You just have to use enough
With that said, I do believe that violence is never the /best/ solution, but it is always a viable one, and you can be left with no choice.

The only problem violence ever solved for me was when these three beaner kids used to fuck with me every day as I walked home from school. Got sick of it one day and turned around and bloodied the mouthiest ones nose. I lost the fight that ensued that day, because 3 v 1, but never had to deal with those faggots after that.
