Except all candidates are making this claim and failing to substantiate it. Everything they claim as fact, the opposition claims isn't true. The general public doesn't have a deep understanding of policy, or any idea what it actually takes to run a country and an economy. They don't know what they need and they don't know who to believe so it comes down to who gets their trust or makes the best sounding promises. Promising to MAGA and put America first isn't a promise anyone will have a problem with, and getting caught up in a scandal where you were ilegally using a private server for emails and suddenly deleted all traces of 10,000 is a lot more damming and harder to trust/excuse than saying "I grab them by the pussy"
