Also, does anyone remember those animations from the late 90s/early 2000s where you would go to a internet page and you could play little cute shockwave (?) animations. Some of them were naughty and some were cute. They were similar to Bonzi Buddy where they would pop up on your screen but disappear after the animation was complete. I SWEAR I remember some rabbit animations called Pumpy's World or something. There were 4 different color rabbits or something and they would do cute funny things. Please help me remember!

The year 2000, my primary school was the first in Australia to get a “computer lab”. We all thought it was going to be an actual laboratory from Dexter’s lab or some shit. Luckily for me my grandfather was rich af and bought a laptop with internet in 1998, my father also owned a computer store, so I already knew how to go to websites and use floppy discs and change wallpapers and play games at the age of 7.

The very first thing the teacher at school told everyone to do was go to askjeeves.com and it took the entire class about 20 minutes just to get to that website. I was changing peoples wallpapers to pics of fish.. no idea why I thought that was funny..

No one really took interest in computers at my school, I guess because they seemed too complicated.. by the 8th grade I was typing 100 words a minute and finishing tests waaaaaay too fast, I was always finishing tests in 10 minutes on the computer and all the other students took days to complete lmao.

Used to get called a geek for playing Simpson episodes and soccer games in class whilst everyone was still catching up, around 2001-2003

Now every little kid has he internet in their pockets equipped with camera and apps and shit haha so I’m no longer special but it was fun while it lasted.

I think I’m my opinion, one of the most interesting things to witness was watching all the normies become computer literate all because they were driven by showing them selves off on MySpace and shit. And also watching massive companies form that tried to censor and mould the internet in the way they wanted it to be to benefit them.

To this day I still laugh when you see something on the news about cyber bullying on social media, normies can’t handle that it originally wasn’t designed to protect their feelings and interests.

Sometimes I wish I could go back and browse some funnyjunk and play the Star Wars rap or the mad cow disease, or download a song of Kazaa and hear bill Clinton lol

I honestley feel nostalgic for EMD f units.
They shaped rail in the us as we know it. And they had a longer running life on many commuter and class 2 and 3 railroads. I also feel nostalgic for the Montreal Maine and Atlantic railway.

Remember the old Courage The Cowardly Dog game where Muriel and Eustace got trapped inside the tv and you had to go through a bunch of channels to save them and eventually the final level was like on a cooking show
