Not OP, but feel like adding that I wish that rap/hip hop would evolve and expand in creative and experimental ways as well. Started out good in the 80s but now that it's mostly Kanye and trap and autotune (vomit!) and "nigga" this and that it's a sad parody of itself, just like rock music.
