If you don't think they should compromise (which they barely do, btw), the neither the communist or the fascist wins and we get one or the other. If you do think they should compromise, the compromise between communism and fascism is not a reasonable, non-authoritarian government. You don't average the points on the left-right "spectrum" (which doesn't exist, btw. the square/diamond is closer but still quite inaccurate). Honestly the compromise between communism and fascism is fascism. It's not really an apples-to-apples comparison. Communism is about central planning as an economic system, while fascism is about devotion to the state. Fascists usually prefer ostensibly free markets, but you'll basically end up with a compromise between free market and central planning, but the devotion to the state is guaranteed. Doublespeak, militantism, and xenophobia are 100% guaranteed in this compromise.

I want to see Bernie because I want to see him educate people. Most politicians just say truisms that their constituents want to hear. Bernie is a different breed along with AOC and some others. (not saying AOC should run for pres, she doesn't have nearly the experience she needs and is also too young)

They actually engage the topics in an academic way. Obama was kind of like that but less so. Part of being a good politician (meaning someone I'd like to vote for) is being a good debater and convincing people of things they don't already agree with. That's really just being a good leader. Politicians like Clinton and Trump basically just want to convince people to vote for them.

I don't know that much about Warren, but I would be thrilled to see Bernie win (though I probably won't vote for him as he's too old).
